From I-76 West, the Schuylkill Expressway (from center city, Walt Whitman, Ben Franklin birdges): exit at Belmont Avenue (exit 338). Turn left on Belmont; West Laurel Hill Cemetery is on the left going over the hill, and after the third traffic light. From I-76 East: Exit 338 at Belmont Avenue. Turn right on Belmont; West Laurel Hill Cemetery is on the left going over the hill, and after the third traffic light. From US 1 South, City Line Avenue (also known as City Avenue): turn right on Belmont Avenue (just past Hilton Hotel). After two traffic lights, West Laurel Hill Cemetery will be on the right. Use the second entrance (the first is usually closed). From US 1 North, City Line Avenue: turn left on Belmont Avenue (just past Lord & Taylor). After two traffic lights, West Laurel Hill Cemetery will be on the right. Use the second entrance. Once inside the cemetery, take an immediate left, following the signs to the Chapel of Peace. The Chapel of Peace is handicapped accessible, using the entrance nearest the handicapped parking spaces. |
